Comal ISD Students Advance To UIL Academic State Meet Seventeen Comal ISD students wrapped up the school year competing in the UIL Academic State Meet in Austin with one becoming the 3A headline writing champion and another taking the 5A bronze medal in physics.
Five Comal ISD Campuses Make 2023 Honor Roll list of Top Performing Schools in Texas Five Comal ISD campuses have performed in the top 12 percent of schools in the state of Texas, making the 2023 Honor Roll list. Comal ISD Hosts Eight Graduations for Class of 2024 Comal ISD hosted eight graduation ceremonies this year for the class of 2024 with 2,096 students receiving their high school diplomas. This year marked the first graduation for both Hill Country College Preparatory High School and Pieper High School. Congratulations to all!
Sixty-Five Students Choose Military Post High School Graduation Traditionally, students in Comal ISD have chosen to serve in the military post graduation, and this year is no exception with 65 recent graduates joining the military either as enlistees or through military academies and colleges.

Memorial Early College Robotics Team Advances To State FIRST Championship After two-months of problem solving, repairing and modifying its robot, the robotics team from Memorial Early College High School competed in the 2024 FIRST in Texas Championship in April.
Three Comal ISD Winter Guard Teams Advance To State Competition Three winter guard teams advanced to state-level contests this spring with Smithson Valley High School earning the bronze medal in its division and Davenport High School placing fourth in its division.
